How it works

The Schengen visa process from Pakistan, in five steps

The steps are the same whichever Schengen country you visit; what changes is the embassy, its booking route and its checklist.

  1. Assess your case

Your purpose, travel history, finances and ties to Pakistan — and any earlier refusals.

  2. Pick the right embassy

Your main destination decides where you apply. We check it before anything else.

  3. Build the file

A checklist for your profile, then a review of every document, the form and your itinerary.

  4. Book & attend

You book through the official route and give biometrics in person. We prepare you for it.

  5. Decision & next steps

Usually 15 calendar days. If refused, we go through the reasons with you.

Eligibility

What a visa officer looks for

There is no points test. The consulate weighs your whole file. These are the questions every Pakistani application has to answer clearly.

  • A genuine, clearly explained purpose: tourism, visiting family, business, a conference or a short course.
  • A passport issued in the last 10 years, valid at least 3 months after you leave the Schengen area, with two blank pages.
  • Enough money for the trip, shown through regular, explainable bank activity — not a sudden deposit.
  • Reasons to return to Pakistan: a job, a business, studies, family and property.
  • Travel medical insurance of at least €30,000 valid in every Schengen country.
  • An honest travel history — including earlier refusals, which must be declared.

FAQ

Schengen visa questions we hear most

What is a Schengen visa?

A Schengen visa (type C) is a short-stay visa that lets you travel within all 29 Schengen countries for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, for tourism, family visits or business. You apply to one country — normally your main destination — and the visa is valid for the whole area unless it is marked otherwise.

Can Schengen.pk get me an embassy appointment?

No one outside the official system can. Appointments are booked only through the route each embassy publishes (its own website or its authorised application centre). We explain the correct route and prepare your file so you are ready when you book, but we never buy, sell or reserve appointment slots.

Do you guarantee a Schengen visa?

No. Only the consulate decides, and anyone who guarantees a visa is not being honest with you. What we do is help you submit a complete, consistent and truthful application that answers the questions a visa officer will ask.

How much is the Schengen visa fee for Pakistanis?

The EU visa fee is €90 for adults and €45 for children aged 6 to under 12; children under 6 pay nothing. It is paid in Pakistani rupees at the rate the mission sets. Application centres add their own service charge, and our assistance fee is separate and quoted in writing before you pay.

How early should I apply?

You can apply up to 6 months before you travel and no later than 15 calendar days before you travel. Because appointment availability in Pakistan varies, starting 2–3 months ahead is usually sensible.

Which documents do I need to send for the first enquiry?

None. Tell us your destination, rough travel date, city and profile. We will ask for documents only once you decide to go ahead, and only over a channel we agree on.
