Schengen Visa Fees for Pakistani Applicants
A Schengen application from Pakistan involves up to three separate payments: the EU visa fee, the application centre’s charge, and — only if you use one — an assistance service like ours. Here is each one, and who receives it.

The EU Schengen visa fee
The visa fee is set at EU level and is the same for every Schengen country: €90 for adults and €45 for children aged 6 to under 12, with no fee for children under 6. It has applied since 11 June 2024. Some older embassy pages still show the previous €80 / €40.
In Pakistan the fee is collected in rupees at an exchange rate the mission sets and updates. The German and Dutch missions, for example, take it in cash in PKR. Because the rate moves, we do not print a rupee figure that could be out of date — the mission or centre will tell you the amount on the day.
Application centre charges
Most embassies in Pakistan receive applications through an authorised external provider — VFS Global for the Netherlands, Intiana (formerly BLS International) for Italy and Spain. Germany receives applications at its missions directly (Germany guide). The provider charges its own service fee, paid at the centre, and offers optional extras.
We could not find these charges published in rupees on an official embassy page, so we do not quote them. Check the provider’s official website for your country before your appointment.
Our service fee
Our fee pays for our time and expertise — nothing else. How it works:
- You send an enquiry; we reply with what your case needs and a written quote.
- You pay nothing until you accept the quote.
- Our fee never includes, and is never mixed with, embassy or centre fees — you pay those yourself, directly.
- Our fee does not change with the outcome, because no one can promise an outcome.
When our fee is refundable is explained in our refund policy.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Schengen visa fee in Pakistan in 2026?
€90 for adults and €45 for children aged 6 to under 12; free for children under 6. It is collected in Pakistani rupees at the exchange rate the mission sets, so the PKR amount changes over time.
Is the Schengen visa fee refunded if my visa is refused?
No. The visa fee pays for processing your application, not for the visa itself, so it is not refunded after a refusal.
Why does the visa centre charge extra?
Where an embassy uses an external provider (for example VFS Global or Intiana), the provider charges its own service fee on top of the visa fee. Optional extras such as SMS updates or courier return cost more.
How much does Schengen.pk charge?
Our fee depends on the scope of help you need and is quoted in writing before you pay anything. It is always separate from embassy and centre fees.
