Official booking routes by country
You book with the country you apply to — normally your main destination (see which country to apply to). The routes we have verified for applicants resident in Pakistan:
| Country | Who receives applications | How to book |
|---|---|---|
| France | Embassy of France, Islamabad — appointment provider in transition (2026)Confirm officially | France-Visas online form first, then the appointment route the Embassy publishes |
| Germany | The Embassy (Islamabad) or Consulate General (Karachi) directly | Free online waiting list (RK-Termin) on the mission’s website |
| Italy | Intiana (formerly BLS International): Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta | The official Intiana website linked by the Embassy or the Karachi Consulate |
| Spain | Intiana (BLS International): Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi | Only on the official Spain visa centre website |
| Netherlands | VFS Global: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore | VFS Global Pakistan appointment system, one appointment per person |
For other Schengen countries, the embassy’s own website names its authorised provider. We add a country here only after verifying it.
What happens at the appointment
- Arrive on time with your appointment confirmation, passport, old passports and the original documents with copies.
- The centre or mission checks your file is complete. It does not decide on the visa.
- Fingerprints and a digital photo are taken — unless you gave fingerprints for a Schengen visa within the last 59 months.
- You pay the visa fee (in PKR) and any centre charge, and receive a receipt with a reference to track the application.
- The consulate decides, usually within 15 calendar days; this can be extended up to 45 days.
How to spot appointment scams
- Someone selling appointments, “VIP slots” or a guaranteed date.
- Booking or payment via WhatsApp or into a personal bank account — the Spain centre, for example, states it uses neither.
- Websites that look official but are not linked from the embassy’s own site.
- Offers to supply bank statements, bookings or invitations for a fee.
The Embassies of France and Italy in Pakistan have both warned publicly against buying appointments. Always start from the embassy’s own website.

Frequently asked questions
How do I book a Schengen visa appointment in Pakistan?
Through the route the embassy of your main destination publishes: its authorised application centre’s website (for example VFS Global for the Netherlands, Intiana for Italy and Spain) or the mission’s own system (Germany uses a free online waiting list).
Can an agent get me an earlier appointment?
No legitimate agent can. Embassies in Pakistan have warned that appointments must never be bought. Slots sold through unofficial channels can be cancelled, and paying for them puts your application at risk.
Do I have to attend in person?
Yes, for your first application or whenever fingerprints are needed. If your fingerprints were taken for a Schengen visa within the last 59 months, some countries allow submission without attending — the Netherlands, for example, then allows a third party to submit.
What if there are no appointments available?
Keep checking the official system only, apply as early as allowed (up to 6 months before travel), and keep your travel dates flexible. Do not pay anyone who claims special access.
